It’s the perfect getaway to escape the city life and to walk around at a leisurely place, admiring the several   churches flaunting Baroque architecture.

 

 

Along side the art shops you will find souvenir shops selling the famous paprika and local palinka ( Hungarian fruit brandy)and embroidered table cloths.

 This small town boasts 7 churches of different faiths representing the seven communities the Serbs arrived from. The colorful homes that belonged to the merchants from the 18th century are brightly pigmented in green, mustard and rust colors. 

 

For a sweet break head to the unique Marzipan museum where numerous delicacies can be enjoyed. The intricate scenes delicately created by marzipan are worth looking at and admiring.
